This Week’s Event Calendar

Open to the public. Free for members, admission by donation for non-members. Items will be available for purchase from the bar.

Movie Night, The Grand Budapest Hotel* Wednesday May 27, 6:30pm Movie Night returns this week with the star-studded 2014 Wes Anderson dramedy The Grand Budapest Hotel. Free for members, guest passes available. Popcorn, tea, coffee and water provided with other items available for purchase.

The Barre Partnership Barre Merchant’s Social  Thursday May 28, 6-7:30pm "This quarterly gathering is a great opportunity to connect with fellow Barre merchants, business owners, and community partners in a relaxed and casual setting. As we head into a busy summer season, we’ll also spend some time chatting about upcoming summer activities, events, and plans for the 2026 Barre Heritage Festival.

Enjoy charcuterie snacks, a cash bar, and an evening of networking, collaboration, and conversation about everything happening in downtown Barre this summer."

Odd Hours* Friday May 29, Open Until 10pm Typically when we post about odd hours, it’s because we plan to close a bit earlier than usual. This week, we’re in the opposite situation because of a small gathering scheduled in the conference room until 10pm Friday.

We don’t have anything special planned (no official Friday Night Writes, Game Night, or Phone-Free Friday), but for members who would like to utilize the space a little longer to kick off the weekend, we’ll be here.

Brunch Saturday May 30, 10am-1pm Brunch is open to the public with discounts available for members. Quantities are limited, and service is casual (and usually slow). Bottomless self-serve coffee, tea and water are included with the price of brunch dishes, and other beverages are available for purchase from the bar.

Our not-yet-finalized menu includes:

  • Apricot Ginger Waffles (Veg, GF)
  • Earl Gray and Vanilla Baked French Toast (Veg)
  • Ham and Cheese Croissant with Tomato Rosemary Soup
  • Roasted Beet and Brie Quiche (Veg, GF)
  • Grits (Veg, GF)

This will be our last brunch for a while. We’ll see how scheduling for future Saturday events goes in the weeks ahead, but we’re currently booked through July 4.
