Muffins & Mimosas This Saturday
Happy Monday!
One of the reasons we opened The Barre Social Club was to help adults make new friends through authentic, shared interests. We’ve seen that happen here, and we know there are countless other clubs, organizations, hobbies, and groups in our community doing the same.
The challenge? Finding your people can be hard.
So, on Friday, October 23 at 5pm, we’re hosting the first “Your People Are Out There!” Club Fair. We’re inviting local clubs, organizations, informal groups, and even not-yet-existent clubs to set up a station and introduce themselves to potential new members.
Are you:
* Looking for your next generation of members or volunteers?
* Part of a library or community group you’d love more people to discover?
* Thinking about starting a club and wondering who might share your interest?
* A hobbyist looking for others who are into the same thing?
We want to hear from you! We already have some great groups lined up, but there’s room for more.

This event is free for everyone, whether you’re representing a group or simply looking for your people.

Join us at 6:30pm for the 2009 dark fantasy film Coraline. Free for members, guest passes available. Popcorn, tea, coffee and water provided with other items available for purchase.
The Barre Partnership Barre Merchant’s Social
Thursday Oct. 1, 6pm
This quarterly gathering is a great opportunity to connect with fellow Barre merchants, business owners, and community partners in a relaxed and casual setting.
Enjoy charcuterie snacks, a cash bar, and an evening of networking, collaboration, and conversation about everything happening in downtown Barre during the upcoming season.

The back room will be in use for a private gathering Friday beginning at 5pm. Members and guests please be prepared to use the front entrance during this time.
Muffins & Mimosas
Saturday Oct. 3, 10am-12pm
Our typical slow brunch service is on hiatus, likely through the end of the year. However, this weekend we’re offering something new, Muffins & Mimosas, for those of you who have been missing a brunchy vibe.
Gluten-free muffins, coffee and tea are free for members, and available for purchase for nonmembers. Mimosas and other beverages will also be available for purchase.
And remember, enjoy The Barre Biergarten at Pearl Street Pizza Saturday from 3-10pm!

Saturday October 24: Tag Sale, 10am-2pm. If you’re like us, you probably have a few things in the attic, basement, or elsewhere you’d like to get rid of. Members and friends are welcome to join us Oct. 24 to set up a table and sell some stuff. RSVP by Oct. 10 to reserve a spot.
